Conditional Formatting in Excel – iphone4 vs Droid vs Incredible

A friend of mine recently wanted a comparison of iPhone4 and Android phones based on my experience.

Back in 2009 , I started off with a Motorola Droid when it first came out and stuck withit for over

18 months. Eventually the screen broke after a tragic fall.

Luckily, the iPhone4 from VerizonWireless launched around the same time and I happily switched over.

Having been a heavy user of both the phones, I put together an Excel sheet comparing the

phones feature by feature.

After putting together a simple Excel sheet comparing the 3 phones, it became clear to me that

a simple 5 point scale rating is rather hard to visualize without color. After playing around with

my new Ms Excel 2011 for Mac, I stumbled on some nice features with the

conditional formatting. So here goes.
